National Training Day for Anglican and Protestant Prison Chaplains
On 24 May, the Anglican Institute in Belgium supported the Central Committee of the Anglican Church in Belgium in hosting the annual training day for Anglican and Protestant prison chaplaincies. The training day took place at Holy Trinity Brussels and was entirely in French. After a celebration led by Canon Arani Sen of Holy Trinity, the day was led by Rebecca Breekveldt, the Second Secretary of the Central Committee, and focused on cultural differences and preferences that can disrupt communication in a prison environment. Lunch was provided by Holy Trinity's Community Kitchen. This was the first time that Anglicans had organised this important event.
